John D'Souza, MD, FCAP

Dr. D’Souza has maintained an impressive list of professional experience and faculty positions over the past 30 years. In addition to being ACM-Pivotal’s Vice President for Medical Laboratory Affairs and Medical Director, he is also the Chairman for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Unity Hospital. With a keen interest in continuing education, Dr. D’Souza is currently the Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of Rochester. Dr. D’Souza is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and in Radioisotopic Pathology. His areas of special interest include clinical pathology, laboratory medicine, quality processes, continuous quality improvement and lab management.
