Alan Craig, MD

As the Laboratory Director for Europe, Dr. Craig is actively involved in training pharmaceutical industry personnel in the role of the clinical laboratory. With well over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, he has an unparalleled standing in the central laboratory community. Dr. Craig is a clinical biochemist who worked in the UK National Health Service (NHS) clinical laboratories in Scotland and Oxford, followed by many years as an employee then consultant with G. D. Searle, ClinPath, MetPath (UK), Hazleton and LCG Bioscience Services. He is a regular lecturer on the interpretation of clinical laboratory data at pharmaceutical companies around the world. He is also course organiser and chairman for the Drug Information Association on clinical laboratory issues and helps a number of pharmaceutical companies with interpretation of laboratory data. Dr. Craig is also an Honorary Lecturer at John Moores University, Liverpool.
