ACM-Pivotal Prepares for
ICR Annual Spring Conference

York, England and Rochester, NY, Mar. 19, 2008 - –ACM-Pivotal, the global central laboratory that continually defines the customer-service standard with its flexible approach, is supporting early-stage research at the ICR Annual Spring Conference and Exhibition this April, by sponsoring the event’s poster competition.

The conference, entitled ‘Communication in Clinical Research –Challenges in a Complex World’, is held on 8 –9 April at the ICC in Birmingham and is the largest clinical research event of its kind in Europe.

The conference poster competition provides an opportunity for researchers to present their work in progress and network with others in their field, as well as gain feedback from conference delegates.

The posters will be judged by the ICR Board of Directors and the winner will announced on Tuesday 8 April. Jerry Boxall, managing director of ACM-Pivotal, and Sue Ollier, chair of the ICR Board of Directors, will present the winner with a cash prize at the conference. The winning researcher will also be invited to contribute an article to the industry magazine CR Focus.

Jerry Boxall said: “We are supporting the poster exhibition at the ICR Spring Conference as we believe it is important to showcase the work of promising researchers in the UK. By presenting their findings and progress at a key industry conference like this, researchers can hone their presentation skills and perhaps gain some publicity for their work.”

ACM-Pivotal will be exhibiting on stand 80 at the event.
